Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • Banana 1
  • Unsweetened milk 200 mL
  • Dark chocolate 40 grams
  • Raw cocoa powder 1 cup
  • Almond flour 1.5 cup
  • Chickpea flour .75 cup
  • Maple syrup 150 mL
  • Vanilla extract 2 tsp
  • Cooking oil 2 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tsp

Steps:

  1. Prepare the oil mixture by melting oil, vanilla, and maple syrup together over low heat.
  2. Meantime, mix the flours, cocoa powder, and baking powder. 
  3. Add to the above the oil mixture and mix in a circular motion in one direction. 
  4. Add to it, mashed banana in milk, and continue the mixing. 
  5. Add melted chocolates/ chips into the batter and mix till an even mixture is obtained. 
  6. Bake the cakes till a toothpick comes out clean. 
  7. Add icing on the top and Halloween figurines for garnishing. 

Sweet Potato Pumpkin Face

Ingredients:

  • Sweet potato 1 large-medium sized
  • Cooking oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt according to preference
  • Cinnamon 1 tbsp; ground

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Cut the sweet potato into thin slices. Using a sharp-pointed object, carve out Halloween-themed designs. Jack O’ lanterns are the most straightforward bets, but if you want to try the spooky skulls, no stopping!
  3. Mix cooking oil, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl and put the sliced potatoes in. Toss them to coat all the pieces evenly. 
  4. Bake the potatoes until they turn light brown. Alternatively, you can fry them up too.

Smoothie (Candy Corn Style)

Ingredients;

  • Mango 1 cup; sliced
  • Banana 1 cup; sliced
  • Pineapple 1 cup; sliced
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • Coconut milk .5 cup

Steps:

  1. Blend the bananas and milk to create a smooth smoothie. Add these to the cup as the base layer and refrigerate to set.
  2. Add mango and a pinch of turmeric and blend till it gives a smooth texture. Add this to the cup and cool to set.
  3. Blend pineapple to get an even mixture. And add it to the top 
  4. Refrigerate and enjoy.

Zombie’s Eyes!

Ingredients:

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Eggs
  • Avocado
  • Yogurt
  • Olives
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

Steps: 

  1. Slice a thin layer of tomato so that it sits on a flat surface.
  2. Slice the top end and scoop out the contents to leave behind hallow tomato.
  3. Boil the eggs and mash them to form the filling. Add avocados and yogurt to the filling and mix to get a uniform consistency.
  4. Add the seasoning to the filling to get the right taste.
  5. Scoop the mixture and fill them into the tomato shells. 
  6. Sprinkle the paprika on top, and you are ready to serve.
