You can only communicate with someone successfully if they are willing to actually listen to what you have to say. Just because you talk and they hear you, that does not mean that your message is resonating. That may be the problem you are facing now with someone you love who just does not want to hear what you have to say. They want you to change your mind, or there is something else about your message that they do not approve of. If you keep talking, it won't change anything.
